Storage policy ledger
Section §1 · Technical Scope

§1 · Cookie & Browser Storage Overview

OneTimer Spins uses a minimal set of first-party HTTP cookies and HTML5 Web Storage (`localStorage` and `sessionStorage`) keys to maintain your authenticated 19+ curator session, remember your hallmarked specimen plates, and store your lighting scene preferences. We do not deploy third-party behavioural advertising cookies.

Section §2 · First-Party HTTP Cookies

§2 · Strictly Necessary Cookies

The following first-party cookies are essential for server session continuity and visual typography rendering:

Cookie Name Category Purpose & Technical Description Duration
sid_ve (PHPSESSID) Strictly Necessary Essential first-party session continuity token used to maintain request state, 19+ login verification, and flash notifications. Session / 30 Days
ab_split_variant Strictly Necessary Essential interface rendering and typography profile token (`HttpOnly`). 30 Days
Section §3 · Client-Side Web Storage

§3 · Local Storage & Session Storage Tokens

To avoid unnecessary server round-trips, our interactive stage stores your curatorial hallmarks and UI state directly in your browser’s local storage:

Storage Key Storage Type Technical Function Retention
ots:claims localStorage JSON array of specimen plate slugs you have stamped with a personal hallmark on this device. Persistent until cleared
ots:recent localStorage Ordered list (up to 6 slugs) of recently inspected practice chambers for your personal tray. Persistent until cleared
ots:scene localStorage Stores your chosen conservatory lighting theme (`daylight`, `parchment`, or `nocturne`). Persistent until cleared
ots:analytics-consent localStorage Records your explicit choice (`granted` or `denied`) for Google Consent Mode v2 telemetry. Persistent until updated
ots:session-started-at sessionStorage Epoch millisecond timestamp used to trigger your 15/30/45/60-minute mindful cadence reminder bell. Browser tab session
Section §4 · Default Denial Architecture

§4 · Google Consent Mode v2 Implementation

In every page ``, before any scripts execute, our platform initializes Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage parameters explicitly set to denied:

window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];
function gtag(){ dataLayer.push(arguments); }
gtag('consent', 'default', {
  'ad_storage': 'denied',
  'ad_personalization': 'denied',
  'analytics_storage': 'denied',
  'ad_user_data': 'denied',
  'wait_for_update': 640
});
window['ga-disable-G-OTS8492CA'] = true;

Even if you choose Allow Analytics, advertising storage (`ad_storage`, `ad_user_data`, `ad_personalization`) remains permanently disabled across our conservatory.

Section §5 · User Sovereignty

§5 · Managing Preferences & Browser Controls

You may inspect or toggle your analytics consent status at any time on our interactive Cookie Preferences page. You may also clear `localStorage` and cookies through your browser’s privacy settings; note that clearing `ots:claims` will reset your local hallmark stamps on this device.
